Opened in 2007, the Boston campus of Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts is dedicated to providing career-based educational programs to students that foster opportunities for success. Opened with the goal of providing a renowned culinary education to prospective students in the Boston metropolitan area, LCB - Boston is known for its hands-on and focused educational approach to the culinary arts, both modern and classical.
While the Boston campus of Le Cordon Bleu is relatively new, the tradition behind it is not. First founded in Paris in 1895, the roots of the Le Cordon Bleu tradition trace back to the 1500's. Today, this internationally respected culinary-arts curriculum is alive and well, and is still known for providing students with innovative culinary arts training backed with centuries of expertise and tradition.

Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts - Associate of Applied Science
Combining French cooking methods with modern American technology, the Associate of Applied Science in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program is designed to equip graduates with the skills needed in order to pursue a wide variety of positions in the culinary industry. A well-rounded course of study, students of this program will combine theory with skill in learning classical French cooking methods, nutrition, sanitation, and food preparation.
In addition, coursework will emphasize the organizational methods, timeliness, and procedures that are essential to being a productive member of a culinary team. Students will learn front and back of house operations, and gain exposure to cross-cultural and international cuisines and culinary traditions.
A 15-month program, the Associate of Applied Science in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts curriculum combines 12 months of on-campus instruction with a 3-month externship in the culinary institution. This externship provides students with real-world experience in a supportive educational setting. In addition to receiving the AAS degree, graduates will also earn the Le Cordon Bleu Diplôme.
Accreditation
Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Boston is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) to award the Associate of Applied Science degree.
