They also are involved with pricing, budgets, hiring & firing and everything that has to do with running a lodge. Depending on the size of the organization, the responsibilities vary.
A food service manager is responsibility staffing both the front end (waiters, servers) and back end (kitchen help, chefs, cooks) of the house. They hire, train and schedule everyone who works in the restaurant
