The Le Cordon Bleu locations in the United States take a unique approach to learning by including new American technologies and techniques to the standard French classical training.
This campus was founded in 1999 to provide professional opportunities in the culinary arts to the Dallas area. The school's Le Cordon Bleu affiliation makes it an internationally-recognized culinary institution. Training combines classical European and North American culinary techniques with the most modern and innovate methods available today.
Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts - Associate of Applied Science
The school offers an Associate's of Applied Science in Culinary Arts. Courses include classical French cooking, culinary theory, menu development, international cuisine, baking and pastry, basic food preparation, nutrition, food safety, leadership, and both front- and back-of-the-house restaurant operations.
This restaurant-based learning is enhanced by required participation in the student-run on-site eatery. Students can expect to graduate within 15 months; one year is spent in the institution, and three months are spent in a required externship. Graduates of the school's program receive a Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Diplôme, a certification recognized and admired by restaurants in almost every location in the world. For added flexibility, the AAS in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program is available in 84-week and 60-week formats.

Accreditation for the school is accomplished through the Le Cordon Bleu Institute, granting the school the authority to bestow the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Diplôme to graduates.
