Hospitality Management - Bachelor of Business Administration

Taught by instructors well-versed in real-world experience, the BBA in Hospitality Management program also includes an externship at a top local culinary institution, providing students with real-life experience in a supportive educational environment.

Available as a Bachelor of Business Administration degree program, the Hospitality Management curriculum at Robert Morris College is available as an accelerated course of study, helping students graduate and enter the workplace sooner. Coursework in this program includes finance, information systems, accounting, and other hospitality management related topics.

Culinary Arts - Associate of Applied Science

Focused on the techniques, skills, and experience that graduates require in order to pursue employment as a cook or line chef, the Associate of Applied Science in Culinary Arts degree is designed to give students the hands-on training that will prepare them for a career in the culinary arts.

In addition to learning the basics of culinary arts, students will also take courses that emphasize catering, baking, purchasing, international cuisines, management, critical thinking, and garde manager responsibilities. While some students choose to enter the workforce upon graduation, others stay at Robert Morris College and pursue the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Advanced Culinary Arts.

Advanced Culinary Arts - Bachelor of Professional Studies

An extension of the AAS in Culinary Arts degree program, students of the Bachelor of Professional Studies in Advanced Culinary Arts curriculum focus on the fundamental concepts of culinary arts.  In addition, students will learn about A la minute cookery, menu management, American cuisine, baking and pastry, facilities design, and restaurant operations/management. In addition to an externship at a DuPage-area culinary facility, students also have the choice of studying abroad in Italy.
