Chef/Culinary Arts Specialist - Occupational Associate Degree
The Chef/Culinary Arts Specialist program at Keystone Technical Institute is available as an Occupational Associate degree. A 15-month curriculum, this course of study focuses on the skills needed in order to pursue entry-level employment as a garde manager, line chef, pastry chef, catering manager, or sous chef.
In addition to learning about the fundamentals of the culinary arts, students will take courses in food presentation, menu planning, ingredient exploration, nutrition, small business management skills, dining room operation/procedures, baking and pastry, and health and safety.
