The Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts - Hollywood was founded in 1994. They boast of a faculty that includes some of the most respected chefs in California who are able to turn out confident and successful graduates. They are part of a small percentage of culinary schools in America to partner with renowned Le Cordon Bleu — the leading authority on culinary techniques, training, and development for over a century.
The Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts program blends demonstration classes with hands-on, practical courses in professionally equipped kitchens. As part of this dynamic program, students will have the opportunity to learn classical cooking methods and the qualitative aspects of food preparation, including nutrition and sanitation.
Students are encouraged to explore their own style and creativity under the guidance of our executive chefs. Plus, as with all of our programs, there is a general education component built into the program that is designed to provide a solid academic foundation for our student's career and personal growth.
Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts - Associate of Occupational Studies or Diploma
Available at LCB - Pasadena in a AOS or Diploma format, the Le Cordon Blue Culinary Arts program emphasizes the principles and procedures as well as the history, evolution, and diversity of culinary arts. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to prepare appetizers, soups, sauces, vegetables, garde manger, charcuterie, entrées, breads, pastries, and desserts.
You'll also learn to identify, fabricate, and portion meats, poultry, and fish. Other topics covered in these cooking courses include sanitation, hygiene, safety procedures, cost control, human resource management, and styles of table service. The diploma program runs 30 weeks in length, whereas the more in-depth Associate's degree format is 15 months in length.

Approved by the State of California, the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts - Hollywood is accredited by The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools.
