About the Associate in Specialized Business Degree in Hospitality Program 

Students interested in pursuing an Associate in Specialized Business Degree in Hospitality can do so through a seven-quarter program at York Technical Institute. The program centers on training that reflects real-world situations.

In addition to Hospitality-specific courses such as front office procedures, resort management, and hospitality quality management, students also study more general business topics such as communications, principles of management, and professional development. Students learn first-hand through field trips, guest speakers, and a three-month externship during their studies.

About the Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management Program

The school also offers a Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management program at their Lancaster campus. This Associate in Specialized Business degree can also be earned in seven quarters. Students study everything from sanitation to food and beverage management in order to prepare for a fulfilling career in the kitchen. Cooking methods, regional cuisine, and basic pastry skills are also covered in this program.

York Technical Institute has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology. It is also licensed by the State Board of Private Licensed Schools, Department of Education, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The school offers two computer labs and a Learning Resource Center, student lounges, a copy center, interview rooms, and reception areas.
