Opened in 1982, the Metrodome is the largest sporting stadium in the state of Minnesota. Also the home of Golden Gophers Basketball, the Metrodome is booked for over 300 days each year! While a world-class facility, the Metrodome will soon be replaced by three separate stadiums, to be located in and around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
