The Gourmet Cooking and Catering program at Ashworth College consists of 20 lessons that are both hands-on and comprehensive in nature. A typical lesson involves a reading assignment, introductory note, vocabulary builder, open-book exam, and practice exercise. Including numerous recipes and menu items, the Gourmet Cooking and Catering program at Ashworth College is a great way to develop a comprehensive approach to cooking and catering. Coursework includes topics such as managing a catering business, choosing recipes, ingredient selection and storage, table service, serving food, menu development, staffing, client surveys, and scheduling.
