Golden Chutney Sauce

Ingredients:

We recommend trying 1 1/2 oz of Veggie Glace Gold reconstituted in 1 cup hot water.

Procedure

  1. Melt butter in a sauce pan and sauté shallots for approx. 2 minutes (until transparent).
  2. Add wine and reduce to an essence (approx. 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add vegetarian demi glace and stir with a whisk and simmer for approx. 5-6 minutes (until sauce has thickened).
  4. Add Old Farmhouse Chutney.

Sauce can be served over sautéed chicken breasts, portabello mushrooms, or assorted grilled vegetables.
