Lincoln college of New England used to be called Clemons College and before that the International College of Hospitality (ICHM). It is now part of the illustrious Lincoln College Group of Schools. Formerly known as Clemens College, Lincoln College of New England offers programs that can be completed in as little as 18 months. Originally founded in the early 1990's, Lincoln College of New England is known for an uncompromising adherence to excellence, In addition, Lincoln College of New England is pleased to offer students programs in both hospitality management and culinary arts.
In addition to stressing professionalism, Lincoln College of New England also focuses on providing students with highly personalized career training. Such training often includes paid internships at hotels, resorts, casinos, restaurants, and other hospitality-related industries. With hundreds of successful graduates in the culinary and hospitality industries throughout the world, it is clear the excellence is a focus of every aspect of the educational experience at Lincoln College of New England.
Before they were Lincoln College of New England, they were the Swiss Hospitality Institute in Washington, CT. In 1994 they changed their name to the International College of Hospitality Management, César Ritz after being approved to offer associate degree programs.
Under new ownership in 2003, they moved the school to Suffield on the grounds of the former St. Alphonsus College. In 2007 they changed the name again to Clemens College to honor one of Connecticut's favorite authors, Samuel Clemens or better known as Mark Twain.
Not sure of the date, but they were recently purchased by The Lincoln Group of Schools and became the Lincoln College of New England.
